| Amazing (in my opnion) story I started working in 2010! I've spent years preparing the plot and making all pretty. Now, in 2013, I'm finally writing what I hope to be the last version of the first book. Each new chapter will be submitted between a period of 1 week, to 4 weeks since the last chapter. I know it's a long time, but I don't actually get to write my chapters that much. Fate's Game is a story that started as a little something, very simple, and those of you who are writers will understand this, it was just one of those inspirations that popped out of nowhere and onto the paper. It wasn't meant to go anywhere, I had no plot, and no characters. And to be truthful the story started with the main character waking up in the ocean! Now if you've read the first chapter, you clearly know that its false. For some reason I kept writing, and more things came and the plot began to develop. i wasn totally unfamiliar with everything but it was as if my hands had a mind of their own and I was just a viewer of the story that was unfolding. Then, in 2011 or 2012, I believe, my computer crashed and I lost everything on the hard drive. Luckily for me, I loved to share! I had sent chapters to my friends and made the odd copy here and there. I managed to scrap up everything except the last two chapters i had written. The most maddening of it all, is I had been two chapters away from completing the book! However, I felt no need ot rewrite those chapters. Instead I started from the beggining and rewrote it yet again. At that point I had made a base for myself, and all the details and flaws in the plost were slowly repairing themselves. I never got much farther than chapter 5 before I restarted with a new version each time. And each time it became better, and I discovered things about the plot I never thought I would. I had five versions before coming to this one. All during those five versions, the plot enlarged enormously. Suddenly I had another subserie. This first series was going to be four books long, and I was adding another one after it. Then I added another one and then another one, till I had five subseries! I was so caught up in it, I decided to add a whole other series! In the end, I had my one big series which I had called "Unbalanced", it was sperated into two series, each one called "Fate's Game" and "Sandy's Path". Fate's Game had five subseries, and Sandy's Path had six subseries. AND I was thinking of adding a third series! In my head it had become a never-ending series, and everything and every character was crammed in my brain, then in the end of 2012, I realized that my plot, my beautiful plot with all those beautiful characters had derailed into an illgocial twisted fantasy in my second series. I found myself having to explain everything, I had I realized and I didn't need the second series, it was just me trying to prolong my story. So i scrapped it and added another subseries to my first series to give it a proper ending. So now, I am left with Fate's Game, one series containing 6 trilogies, all connected in one way or another. This is midly sci-fi, largely fantasy, has large amounts of fighting, captivating characters, has a spice of romance here and there, and pinces of betrayal scattered everywhere. Enjoy, this pull-you-in type story that I have decided to share with you. Don't worry! It's okay if you don't like it |
